Omnilogic Systems now builds websites using the WordPress Content Management System (CMS) Platform.

Each website is designed and built by a professional Web Designer/Developer, and includes training on how to get the most out of your website.

The Omnilogic Process:
Whether it’s a phone call, an email, or a walk in, we begin with an initial consultation.
The initial consultation with our Client Manager takes around 15-30 minutes and will evaluate the fit between you and Omnilogic. We need to get an idea of your goals for the site, and in turn we want to make sure you have a clear understanding of our process, and how we will take your project from concept through to successful launch.
Following the initial consultation, and depending on the complexity of the website, we will provide you with an estimate for the budget and timeline of your site. This can usually be done within 1-2 business days and for simple sites – on the spot.
The Design Stage
A payment of 50% of the project cost is required for us to begin the work. We start off by having you complete our Website Strategy Guide (link), which is then followed up by a Design Meeting with one of our professional Web Developers to ensure that both sides fully understand the project direction, goals and strategy. Once we have a firm grasp on how to proceed, we provide you with a project commencement date based on our current workload.
Upon commencement, we start with a Design Concept. This is a non-functioning graphic of how our designers envision the overall look and feel of your site once completed. Normally it will be produced for you in 3-5 business days, and we require your feedback in the same. The Design Concept phase includes two rounds of revisions followed by Sign-Off. It’s important to get this phase right, because any changes to the Design after approval has been received will be billable work.
The Build Stage
We then begin process of creating the code to turn the design into a working website. This is done in a test environment so that access can be limited to only those you wish to see it. Building the site usually takes 5-10 business days for a standard site, but can take longer depending on the complexity of any custom functionality or features.
Training Stage
Once the site is built, we will hold a training session to familiarize you with how to use the WordPress Platform. Normally this is done using Skype, Conference Call, or in our Office. Training sessions are also available on-site at our normal hourly rate. Training takes 1-2 hours, and when complete you will be able to fully utilize your website. With a little practice you’ll be a pro at doing all the things you used to have to pay someone else to do!
When training is complete, we bill you the second 50% of your total cost. You will then begin using you’ve learned to input the content of your site.
Pre-Launch Period
The Pre-Launch Period begins immediately following training and lasts for one full calendar month. Things are in your hands at this point. You can take as long as you need to get the site’s content populated and complete the provided pre-launch checklist, but be aware that hosting charges will commence once the Pre-Launch Period expires. During the Pre-Launch Period we are also available to help refresh your memory should you need any assistance in applying your Content Entry Training, but again, once the Pre-Launch Period ends, additional support will be billable at the standard hourly rate.
Launch
Once you’ve got things ready, let us know and we’ll put your new site live! We offer a 30 day warranty period for your website once it has been launched. During this time if you discover any glitches that weren’t discovered during earlier stages of the process, we will gladly fix them.
With the WordPress Content Management System you’ll be easily able to update all of your content yourself – but don’t feel bad about just stopping in to say hi! Of course, if you still find you need our help, or need something done fast and just don’t have the time to do it yourself, we can make any changes or updates to the site for you. Our office is open Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00 pm. (though we usually sneak out at lunch, we’re available for appointments if lunch hour works best for you!) and our rates are very reasonable.
